love and sympathy

Today I had no joy in card making as I had to make a Sympathy card. A dear uncle passed away last weekend.
Making Sympathy cards are never easy so I decided while I had my stamps out to make a couple of them for my stash.

I have to admit that the Love and Sympathy Stamp set made the cards a bit easier to put together.
It is a very reasonably priced stamp set at AU$21.95 (clear) and AU$27.95 (wood) that I would recommend for anyone to have in their stamp set collection. p.68 of the main catalogue.
The simple watercolour flower and two sets of heartfelt words are just perfect.

I coloured the flower and its leaves with stampin write markers.
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Whisper White
Designer Paper: retired saleabration sweet sorbet
Embossing folder: Beautifully Baroque
Markers: Soft Sky, Crumbcake
Ink: Early Expresso
Oval Framelits

Here is the other one I did.
This time I used Crumbcake Cardstock. Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz
Fancy Fan Embossing Folder
Lattice Bigz Die (I cut the lattice piece in half diagonally)
Markers: Pear Pizzazz, Crumbcake
Ink: Early Expresso.
